Service Description

Participants will also learn about legal and ethical considerations, workplace safety, and communication strategies during emergency situations. Led by expert instructors with experience in childcare settings, this course provides practical, hands-on training to ensure that participants leave feeling confident and equipped to handle any emergency situation. Our comprehensive course manual provides additional support, helping participants reinforce the knowledge and skills they have learned. Upon completion of the First Aid in Childcare course, participants will have the skills and knowledge needed to recognize and respond to various medical emergency situations, perform high-quality CPR, manage choking and bleeding, and develop an emergency plan for their childcare setting. Certified by St. John's Ambulance, our two-day First Aid in Childcare course provides participants with a First Aid certification that is valid for two years upon successful completion.
